ADAPTER - 50mm VACUUM HOSE to 25mm TOOL INLET

<p>A simple adapter to connect a two inch shopvac style vacuum cleaner to any tool with a one inch tapered connector. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>Shown is a Makita Random Orbital Sander - I have included a small bend in the fitting to allow for clearance when using this larger size hose.</p><p>Print upright, threaded side down - no supports are necessary. &nbsp; &nbsp;I have used PLA for all my connector fittings and all have stood up well to the usual workshop use, but I did &nbsp;think about printing this one in Flex because it's likely to get knocked about a bit more than most.<br><br>USER TIP: &nbsp;While the tapered fit is great for normal use, I find a little plumber's PFTE (Teflon) tape over the male part of the joint allows really smooth connect and disconnections - tight friction fit with a twist release.</p><p>This is just one of a growing collection of vacuum hose fittings and accessories that can be found in my <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/social/79444-peter-h/collections/113393">VACUUM AND SHOPVAC ACCESSORIES COLLECTION</a><br>&nbsp;</p>
