Initially, I relied on standard tubing fittings with tapered pipe threads to connect the components, but these often provided an inadequate fit and raised concerns about their reliability. Moreover, the tall, heavy metal fittings significantly increased the overall height of the E3Dv6 hotend. Fortunately, a Chinese supplier offers clones that come equipped with an E3Dv6 style bowden tube fitting complete with a clip and all other necessary components (see link below).
