I'm an occupational therapist who works with students who struggle to hold their writing tools correctly. They've found success with devices that help them develop a tripod grasp, and they were looking for something similar to help them hold crayons and colored pencils. I designed this wishbone-style holder to securely cradle the tool while promoting a balanced grip. Adding a rubber band at the end gives it extra stability. I'm currently printing sets of these holders in different colors for my students to use.
