The design modification involved adjusting the position and size of the jack hole, allowing it to accommodate a salvaged unit with a rectangular base. To prevent incorrect plugging, a 12V marking was added directly next to the jack. The switch hole was enlarged to fit standard Chinese switches measuring 12mm x 18mm in size.
