Celestron f6.3 reducer adapter / ZWO ASI cameras with filter holder This adapter is compatible with different types of reducers, including Chinese-made Celestron with a 105mm backfocus and Japanese-made old ones with an 86mm backfocus. It also works with Meade or Antares telescopes that have a 86mm backfocus. The adapter is suitable for ZWO ASI cameras with a 12.5mm or 17.5mm backfocus. Choose the body size you need based on the type of reducer (BF 105 or 86 mm) and the backfocus of your camera. There are four body types to choose from: BF 105 / 12.5, BF 105 / 17.5, BF 86 / 12.5, and BF 86 / 17.5. Also select the appropriate housing with the correct inscriptions. All parts are printed with a high level of detail, featuring four perimeters and 30% infill. For successful printing, a layer height of 0.12mm is recommended for threads. This will ensure that your adapter is strong and durable. To assemble the adapter: 1. Screw the reducer onto the telescope as well as the body of the adapter. 2. Present the filter chamber by positioning it as desired, making sure to leave room for filter insertion. 3. Make a mark on the chamber using scotch tape or a similar method, then stick it to the body by aligning the marks. 4. Apply glue to the housing, leaving a small gap between the parts for easy installation. Be careful not to use too much glue or you may experience overflows. 5. Screw your camera onto the T2 plate and position the USB port as desired before attaching it to the chamber. 6. Insert the filter holder into the chamber and apply glue to the two slots provided for positioning the cap, as well as a thin line between the two housings. 7. Glue the cap in place. The filter chamber, filter holder, and cap are common to all configurations. Use 2-component thin layer epoxy glue for best results.
