What's it for? In the event of installing a double-flow VMC in an unheated area (avoid this!); The ambient air intake used to prevent icing or defrosting (abnormal!) the heat exchanger must be blocked. It was designed so that you can use this feature in an unheated area. It fits into the designated housing and allows connection of a 80mm flexible insulated pipe. It will be particularly effective when the outdoor temperature is below -2°C (activation of anti-freeze protection). Its compact profile does not obstruct machine maintenance or interfere with existing routing. Once installed, it should be secured around its perimeter to ensure a tight seal, then isolated in any manner you prefer. Air intake must be done outside of contaminated air zones. I recommend doing it in a hallway or living room following the housing and installation. Designed exclusively for VORTICE HR400 / HR400 M / HR400 PLUS and NATHER HEVEO 2 machines.
