I've got another adapter for you...\n\nI had an old 18v cordless drill from the hardware store that was gathering dust at the bottom of my garage...\nIt must be around 15 years old and I haven't used it in ages because the batteries were dead for a long time.\nA small test allowed me to realize that I could use LI-On batteries instead of NI-CD ones (all in 18v, obviously)\nSo I thought I'd build an adapter to go with my Makita batteries...\n\nHere's the result...\nSince I won't be using the other batteries anymore, I made a fixed adapter, stuck together with some plasterboard screws and another M5 screw that I don't have yet (but it holds for now), I'm using it like that for now)\n\nAs for the connectors, the strips are made (once again) from my old corrugated metal sheet, the small screws holding the strips in place (wood screws of unknown size) also keep the electrical wire in place\rnThe other end of this wire has a connector, the original drill bits fit perfectly into the connector\n(I don't have any photos and I don't want to open the machine again...) \n\nThere you go, if it can help someone recycle their old machine...
