Adaptador Tablet
thingiverse
This project emerged in a course for Occupational Therapy at the Escola Universitaria d'Infermeria i Terapia Ocupacional de Terrassa, following an outing to an occupational center. At this facility, we observed a lack of resources for certain users when it came to managing tablets. They struggled with motor skills necessary to slide their fingers across the screen. They also had difficulty playing a bowling game because they couldn't draw a straight line, which prevented them from completing the game correctly. The adaptation involved creating a 3D printed piece that allows users to draw a straight line by defining the space on the screen. We modified a gadget for use with a phone and enlarged it so it could be used on a tablet. We also opened up the top portion of the gadget to allow access to more areas of the screen. To provide additional stability, we added a rear support.
