Adaptable wind turbine

Adaptable wind turbine

cults3d

You can take a portable wind turbine anywhere and adapt it to any surface, such as mounting it on a small box to harness energy using a small generator. The possibilities are endless, so get creative! The turbine is designed to be easily installed on a 10-inch threaded rod secured with bolts and washers. To assemble the blades, apply glue to attach them to the two supports. Looking at the photos, you'll see the theoretical air flow diagram (three generator blades, one solid blade excluding penetration coefficients that vary depending on the direction of the blade) and simulations run on SolidWorks (I used the software I had available at the time). Note that the air flow direction in the simulation is reversed compared to the theoretical diagram. To print the blades, you'll need a printer capable of first printing a base before adding the blade on top. The dimensions are 200x200 mm. Feel free to modify and scale the design as needed to suit your requirements.
