This cart pushing robot draws inspiration from a patent filed in 1905, which I've adapted by incorporating a cam that secures the leg during the pushing phase. I prefer using TT gear motors with a 1:120 ratio, although even a more common 1:48 ratio will suffice. The two C cell batteries within the cart serve as ballast to maintain balance. The side panels on the body are entirely optional, as is the cart battery lid. I've included a blank cover that can be customized to suit individual preferences. Likewise, the wire cover plate on the back of the cart can be omitted if desired. For those interested in building this robot, I've created a comprehensive video tutorial available on YouTube: https://youtu.be/y45FTRLmaQA Due to ongoing issues with Thingiverse, I've taken the initiative to host all build information and STL files on Alphadrome's website, specifically within their 3D printed section. The thread can be accessed at http://alphadrome.net/forums/topic/22466/cart-pushing-robot-adam-based-on-1905-patent-3d-printed/.
