Adam
myminifactory
Adam, still reeling from his disobedience, is consumed by guilt and shame. To convey the irreparable harm done in the Garden of Eden, the artist drew inspiration from Michelangelo's masterpieces. The huddled posture and muscular nudity of the figure evoke the athletic Ignudi depicted on the Sistine Chapel ceiling. Tormented, Adam succumbs to deep melancholy. A massive rock represents the crushing weight of his remorse, bearing down on him with unyielding force. This object is part of "Scan The World".
