This is a scale model of an active subwoofer speaker, specifically the Adam Audio Artist Sub in a sleek Black Gloss finish. Created using 3ds Max 2008 and V-ray 2.0, the model maintains realistic dimensions down to the millimeter. Material and texture information are all set within the Gamma 2.2 framework, utilizing V-Ray's robust material library. Note that lights, cameras, and scene setup are not included in the export, however. When converting file formats outside of 3ds Max, a base mesh and smoothed model are utilized for export, while previews are rendered with 3DS Max and V-ray. The current configuration comprises 29 separate objects, featuring an impressive total of 69007 quads, 5131 triangles, and no polygons at all. In its TurboSmooth OFF state, the model showcases a polygon count of 74138; switching to TurboSmooth ON yields a significant increase, totaling 171570 polygons after two iterations. A substantial number of textures are applied across the model, with the most extensive collection spanning 61856 unique files. Texture dimensions range widely, from smaller formats like 2086x* and 2048x* to larger ones such as 3427x3878, 3845x5428, 5814x2301, totaling five different texture configurations.
