This is a model of a bookshelf speaker, based on the Adam Audio A7X, in a sleek black finish. The design was created using 3ds Max 2008 and V-ray 2.0 software. Every detail of this bookshelf speaker is built to exacting real-world dimensions. Units are measured in millimeters. The V-Ray materials and textures bring an extra level of realism to the model, including precise lighting simulations. Note that this file does not include lights, cameras, or scene setup - those will need to be added separately. Other than 3ds Max files, the models can also be exported as a base mesh or smoothed in various other formats. All preview images were rendered using 3DS Max and V-Ray. This bookshelf speaker model is made up of 29 distinct objects. Breaking it down further, we get a total of 55,800 quads, 4,469 tris, and not a single ngon to be found. With TurboSmooth turned off, the model has a respectable 59,634 polygons to work with. However, if we switch on TurboSmooth at two iterations, that number balloons up to an impressive 205,066 polygons.
