Adalinda: The Singing Serpent
thingiverse
Adalinda's design underwent experimentation to avoid overhang issues while maintaining Tolkien-style dragon shapes. The dragon is printable without supports and can be scaled down if desired. Print with PLA requires plenty of cooling, whereas ABS prints need an enclosed environment to prevent cracking from excessive cooling. Ensure accurate filament measurement for a clear print, and low infill (e.g., .1) works well. Adalinda was showcased at the NYC 3D printing conference on CNBC and modeled in Blender. Be prepared for a hollow throat as she's designed to look like she's singing.
