Compact Case for Adafruit Universal Qi Wireless Charging Transmitter http://www.adafruit.com/product/2162 Instructions ------------------ **Print the Compact Case** Using Cura and Filament 1.75 ABS, print at a setting of 240°C / 100%. For optimal results, reposition parts to lay flat on the plate before printing. Printing Notes: * ABS can be challenging to print, so we recommend using 4 or 5mm of Brim to help control warping. * To enhance adhesion, apply a light even coat of Elmer's Purple glue stick to the plate. **Assembly Instructions** Carefully orient the board and ensure that the coil is facing outward. If necessary, use hot melt glue to secure the board and coil. **Testing and Finishing Touches** Test operation by checking for a visible LED light when charging. To attach the lid to the case: 1. Run a bead of CA (Super Glue) around the edge of the case. 2. Gently press the lid into place, making sure it fits snugly. 3. Lay the case flat on a surface and tap all four corners to check for twist or wobbling. If the case twists excessively, gently twist it in the opposite direction until it lies flat. To secure the case while the glue cures: 1. Place masking tape around the lid to hold it in place. 2. Allow the CA (Super Glue) to cure completely before removing the tape and using the case.
