I ordered one of these first and broke the glass while doing some soldering work, but I learned from my mistake this time around. I put it together carefully to ensure that the screen would just slip on and be secure enough for working on the PCB. To add extra security, you can also apply a small dab of hot glue to the pins to hold the cover in place until you're ready to install the LCD. The glass is air-gapped. Step File Included.
