AD584 voltage reference housing

AD584 voltage reference housing

thingiverse

This is a housing for one type of cheaply offered voltage reference modules found on Ebay or Banggood. These references are commonly used to test the precision of multimeters and other DC voltage meters. Space is accommodated for an optional 15V battery, but two pillars might need trimming to keep it securely in place. Material is not critical; PLA works fine, and I used a semi-flexible type. When fastening the board into the housing, ensure that the top-right screw does not touch the positive terminal of the battery. Use a plastic washer to prevent short circuits. The PCB usually has a layer of solder resist acting as an insulator, but this can be easily damaged.
