AD/DR - X Rocket

AD/DR - X Rocket

thingiverse

This is the civilian design of the newly designed Hellforge AD/DR - X (Aerial Debilitation/Disorientation Rocket, Design X). Use model rocket engines like Estes for optimal results. For user customization, I've left out a motor holder so you can choose your own motors and design a holder that fits your needs. Use 2-inch cardboard tubing as the body of the rocket. Attach the fin section at the bottom, making sure it's flush with the tube itself. Attach the second tube part (with the two red lines) at the top, leaving half an inch exposed above the tube to secure the nose. The two parts should sit flush; if not, remodel or reprint. Note that I haven't installed proper rings for homemade parachutes yet, but I encourage everyone to design their own parachute mechanism! This rocket is not recoverable by default, so plan accordingly. Feel free to edit and modify the design as needed. Remember to launch with proper model rocket launch equipment and ensure your launch area is completely safe from hazards. Make sure your rocket or presence in the launch area isn't a hazard itself. Always follow safety guidelines: avoid launching near airports, public places, power lines, heavily wooded areas, or areas with moderate fire risk or above. Never launch near official government buildings.
