Acura MDX seat pull lever for 2nd gen 3rd row

This is a replacement pull down handle for 2nd gen Acura MDX (2007-2013). It is very common for the lever to break on the third row seat. This replaces the stock one. To install, remove all the old broken parts. You will melt the cable lug into the plastic. There is a small indent to indicate approximately where the metal lug should be placed. I used a soldering iron to melt it into place. A lighter, torch, or heat gun will work. Push it down into the plastic until it is just below the surface. Then you can use a screw driver to push some of the melted plastic back over the lug. Blow on it to cool it down so it stops melting the plastic. Don't pull on it until it fully cools. After it cools, flip it over to hide the melted part. Be sure to not melt the plastic directly. Heat up the metal and then push it into the plastic.
