I acquired an Nvidia Grid K2 from eBay, which is showcased in one of the accompanying images, and discovered that it relies on passive cooling. I located two 40mm fans from my inventory and created this shroud to be mounted onto the back of the card. The design ensures adequate clearance around the power connectors; the shroud features two tabs on either side that can be securely fastened to the bracket on the rear of the GPU using two screws. The two 40mm fans will fit snugly within the pocket, but I opted for additional electrical tape to ensure a secure connection between the shroud's outlet and the card. With active cooling, the GPU remains operational; this modification enables it to run at a consistent 27°C idle temperature and under 50°C load. This particular card is designed for server use, which means it won't fit in a standard small computer case.
