Active Carbon Filter Fixture for Computer Fan

Active Carbon Filter Fixture for Computer Fan

Since RepRap printers emit some gases when extruding, I have designed a simple active carbon filter for a fan to remove them. The fan is a standard 70x70 mm computer fan that will be used in a custom-built enclosure for my homegrown printer. I used a two-part design to enable easy filter replacement by creating a clip on the lower section. M6 20 mm screws and bolts fasten the filter onto the upper body, while the lower body is secured with some M3 25 mm screws and bolts. If you have any suggestions for improving this design, please share them! I'm always open to feedback. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: P3Steel Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Infill: 10% Notes: The upper body requires supports for the overhang; ABS was used and the support material was removed with a knife.
