Active Carbon Filter Fixture for Computer Fan
myminifactory
Since FDM printers emit gases when extruding, I created a simple active carbon filter for a fan that will be used in a homebuilt enclosure for a rep-rap printer. The fan itself is a straightforward 70x70 mm computer fan. To make the filter easily replaceable, I employed a two-part design. This was achieved by crafting a clip that attaches to the lower section. M6 20 mm screws and bolts hold the filter in place on top, while M3 25 mm screws and bolts secure the lower body. If you have any suggestions for improving this design, please don't hesitate to share them!
