I designed a smaller solution that's even easier to build than my previous one (link below). I needed a simple yet effective filter to get rid of fumes and particles produced during 3D printing. A filter is cut to size from active carbon (about 13-15mm thick). The lid, which holds the filter in place, fits snugly onto the fan due to friction. For a secure fit, use some tape (I prefer felt tape) if it's too loose. You can also check out my larger version with a mounting frame: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2752343 After some prototyping, I made improvements to the design in Rev 180115. The rubber seal is no longer necessary. To reduce the risk of breaking when removing from the print bed, I slightly chamfered the honeycomb pattern. I've also added variants for 90, 50, 40, and 20mm fans as requested in Rev 180201.
