I really needed a tripod mount for my Garmin Virb Action Cam, so I decided to design one myself. Afterwards, I had this fantastic idea of making a base plate with interchangeable mounts for various action cameras like Garmin, GoPro etc. Right now, there are two functional items ready for use, but I plan to create even more designs and publish them here. Update 24.01.2015: Virb Sockel (Nut Inside): To assemble it, simply pause the print job and insert the capping nut – you can then resume printing with ease. Instructions: Base Plate: It measures 42mm x 42mm at its base. Virb Socket: It is designed to hold a standard M4 nut securely in place. For those who want a nut already inside the Virb Sockel, simply follow these easy steps – pause the print job and carefully insert an m4 nut; then resume printing with no further hassle.
