ActionCam (Rollei/GoPro) 90° corner adapter

I created a custom adapter that fits perfectly onto my helmet, giving my actioncam (Rollei 400) a secure place to call home. With this innovative design, it should be easy to integrate with GoPro mounting systems as well. A key feature of the adapter is that it has never been mass-produced before, so stay tuned for regular updates as more information becomes available. I added a critical update on December 29th: I realized that an M5 nut could be useful, so I designed a hole according to ISO 4032 specifications, making it effortless to attach with your trusty knob. But due to some setbacks, the initial upload was removed and reuploaded after I acknowledged a flaw in my design - the threaded rod of the knob was simply too short for my original construction. The M5 nut hole is now safely nestled inside the adapter instead of on top. My go-to tool for crafting this adapter was AutoCad Mechanical 2015, an intuitive program that brought my creative vision to life.
