Actioncam Helmet Mount

Actioncam Helmet Mount

I wanted a helmet mount for my brand-new Xiaomi Mijia 4K action cam. I couldn't find one that fit my helmet, so I designed this one in Fusion360 myself. It's nothing special, just a quick sketchup with a universal mount for action cams. The holes are modelled and spaced to the holes in my helmet. It's held on by zipties that go between the hardshell and foam insert. The handbolt and nut came with the original mount for my cam. Essentially, it's an M5 nut and bolt (used in most action cam mounts). I'VE UPLOADED 2 FILES – one is a no-gap nut, which fits really tightly around a M5 nut (you may need to use some heat and melt it in), and the other is a +gap nut, which has more clearance for the M5 nut. My helmet is a Tempo 2.0 model, and my action cam is an Xiaomi Mijia 4K model. Here are the print settings I used: I printed this on a Prusa i3 MK3 with a layer height of 0.2 mm, 40% infill, and recommended supports (the bottom is curved). A brim or raft isn't necessary. My hotend temperature was set at 215°C, and my bed temperature was at 210°C. The filament I used is Real Black PLA.
