Action camera diver's handle #4 - AussieLand edition
myminifactory
I've upgraded my go-to underwater camera handle with a new iteration. To make attaching the handle even simpler, I've added two large slots to the base. To match the Dinkum FlexiJoint pieces' 30mm diameter at the rod end, I shortened the overall length to 238mm, ensuring it fits snugly on a 200x200mm build plate when rotated 45° in Z-axis. To assemble this handle, you will need the following components: ## In the base Two 1/4-20 UNC threaded inserts (I recommend using these - the holes are 8mm in diameter, making most threaded inserts suitable; just heat them with a soldering iron and press them in) ## In the rods Two rods with 1/4 UNC screws on both sides (Dinkum FlexiJoint is highly recommended; purchase a pair from any affordable source) One UNC 1/4" camera screw ## In the rods Two 1/4" UNC nuts Two 1/4" UNC bolts (at least 18mm in length)
