The ACS BYOC Universal Detector is a crucial component used throughout the system. It's designed to accommodate a 25mm x 25mm biconvex lens, which suits its 25mm optics perfectly. To assemble this detector, print out all required components and use 2-3mm diameter springs along with prototyping headers to secure them in place. For added stability, M3 (5mmx5mm) square nuts should be used in conjunction with M3 hex screws. The rear of the detector can accommodate either an APD or a silicon photodiode.
