Acrylic Paint Holder v1.2
thingiverse
I designed an acrylic paint holder from scratch using Fusion360, incorporating elements from existing designs. The models come in various layouts catering to different print bed sizes. A 7x7 layout fits on a 300x300 CR-10 series bed, while a 5x5 layout suits the 220x220 Ender3 bed. This design is optimized for a line width of 0.4 and zero infill. It's crucial to review the sliced code before printing to ensure that the lines resemble the provided screenshots with no gaps or broken segments. The outer walls are built using three layers, while the inner and double walls use six layers each. Before commencing the print job, fine-tune your retraction settings to avoid excessive cleanup later on. For determining optimal retraction settings, I recommend the stringing test found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2450004. If minor stringing occurs during printing, apply heat from a gun to shrink and easily remove the strings by scraping them off.
