Acrylic LED Sign Base
thingiverse
I created several of these LED Signs as Christmas presents this year. Making them was quite straightforward - simply screw on two top pieces to the base, install the electronics, and then secure the bottom with a few screws. To fabricate the Acrylic part, I used 3/32 inch acrylic cut to a width of 4 1/2 inches and a height that suited my design. Next, I engraved the desired design onto it. Some pictures show a wooden base that I initially considered using, but then decided on 3D printing due to difficulties with working with wood. However, I included the images so you can envision various possibilities. The electronic components include a 12v power supply, RGB LED light strip controller, and an RGB strip lights section. If you're interested in specific links for these parts, feel free to ask. Additionally, a small set of screws is required for assembly.
