A cutting-edge LED organizer, lasercut from plexiglass. All necessary components are included in the file. However, the thickness of the plexiglass must be taken into account during assembly. A simple design makes it relatively easy to put together. The lamp's safety is ensured by the small but strong neodymium magnets in the plexiglass used for the bottom and as a lid. A 24 LED DIGI-DOT-RING is embedded within the main ring (http://www.led-genial.de/DIGI-DOT-Ring-mit-24-x-WS2812B-LEDs). Each WS2812 LED contains an integrated PWM chip, allowing them to be selected individually. They have 16 million colors and 256 levels of brightness. To achieve this, a WS2812 controller is required. An Arduino can be used but it's too large. A more elegant solution is the LED-Player (http://www.led-genial.de/LED-Player-spielt-LED-Effekte-von-SD-Karte-ab) or the LED-Stamp (http://www.led-genial.de/LED-Stamp-die-LED-Briefmarke-fuer-WS2812) by Diamex. These controllers can be embedded directly and have to be soldered onto the pixel ring. There are only three small spots where they need to be attached. Once that's done, just attach the lamp to a PC via a USB cable, cellphone power supply or power bank. The LED-Stamp already has a few finished programs in store, while the SD-LED-Player offers much more. The player can be controlled via a USB port and the software Jinx! (http://www.live-leds.de) to create great effects. Audio and camera effects can also be created easily. They can even be saved as a file. These files can then be transferred to an SD card so that they can be played back without a PC. Several files can be stored on the SD card, their number depending on its individual capacity. This way, several files can be played after each other. There's plenty of room for experimentation. Have fun assembling it!
