Acrylic Front for Polaroid Magnaframe (Magnet Frame)

<p>I wanted to display some of my favorite Polaroids on my staircase wall but I didn't want anything to accidentally damage them. <strong>Magnaframe</strong> seems to be the only game in town as far as Polaroid wall frames go, but their product doesn't offer any protection from prying hands, greasy fingers, dust or UV light.</p><p>My solution was to print replacement front pieces that accept <strong>3mm UV-blocking acrylic</strong> (plexiglass). These front pieces are flimsy until you add the pane of acrylic and snap them into the Magnaframe back, but after that they're rock solid. I print mine in <strong>black PLA on a textured build plate</strong> for aesthetics but PETG may also work. Use support material for the thin bridge and be careful when removing it.</p><p>I ordered "<strong>Acrylic Clear OP-3 Ultraviolet (UV) Filtering</strong>" from <a href="https://www.tapplastics.com/product/plastics/cut_to_size_plastic/acrylic_sheets_op3_uv_filtering/512">TAP Plastics</a> in 2021. At the time they offered a custom cutting service.
