Acrylic folgertech i3 clone diagonal front rod brace for rigidity
thingiverse
This stabilizer secures Folger Tech's acrylic i3 duplicates, greatly enhancing the printer's stability by eliminating frame wobble. The device effectively counteracts Z axis vibrations, not related to rod movement but rather a design flaw in the framework. I'm eager to learn about other i3 clones that this stabilizer is compatible with; please feel free to inform me so I can update the description accordingly. This particular version utilizes 5/16" threaded rods, which differ from M8 threading. If using M8 rods, you'll need to drill out the lower brace for proper installation. To assemble this stabilizer, you will require: * Threaded rods measuring either 17.25 inches or 438-440mm in length. * A reduced number of nuts per side is necessary when utilizing 5/16" rod due to internal threading on certain parts.
