acrylic enclosure for a 3d printer (600x600x500mm)
cults3d
I have made an enclosure for several standard 3d printers. The enclosure measures 600x600x500mm. The printer inside is the cr 6 se. with a machine size 442x462x540mm so please check your machine size before purchasing. you will find 7 .dxf files when you download this. those files are the acrylic plates. I sent them to a company that cut them out for me with a laser. building the enclosure is a piece of cake. It's like a big lego set. no glue was used when building this. The thickness for the acrylic sheets are 3mm Disclaimer: It's NOT a heat enclosure, I made it so my cat can't bite my filament anymore or attack my printer when it's printing. And of course also that no dust can get on the printer. you will need: 1. back.dxf 2. frame left.dxf 3. front door left.dxf 4. front door right.dxf 5. front frame.dxf 6. side door left.dxf 7. side door right.dxf 8. one acrlylic plate 600x484mm (right panel) 9. one acrylic plate 600x490mm (top panel) printed parts: 1.
