I employed these components to construct a solid foundation for my i3 Mega build. I utilized 500mm x 500mm x 2mm Acrylglas sheets, which can be sourced in Germany for approximately €5 each from hardware stores like Obi or Toom. The base plate featured in the photo is an IKEA LACK table top without its legs. These components have a gap size of 2.5mm and were printed with my XYZPrinting DaVinci Jr at a layer height of 0.4 mm and an infill percentage of 10%. Due to the printer's tolerance, the 2mm Acrylglas fits together extremely snugly. To achieve this fit, I used support structures for the edges. In my build, the screw holes proved small enough to accommodate M3 screws without requiring nuts.
