To create a video based on a Pinterest image, I used Solidworks 2016 to build a model with gears and Simlab Composer 8 for rendering. Frames were edited in Virtualdub and saved as AVI/X264 and BMP. MyMP4BoxGui was used to remux the video into MP4 format, while PhotoScape produced animated GIFs. The 3D model is available in various formats including Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 8, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, DWF and FBX.
