The Acro Sport, a single-seat aerobatic sportsplane designed in the 1970s by US aviation enthusiast Paul Poberezny for homebuilding, is marketed by Acro Sport Inc. Featuring a conventional taildragger configuration, it's a short-span biplane with fabric-covered steel tube fuselage and tail group, and wood wing structure. Spatted main undercarriage and open cockpit are typically included. This highly detailed model, built near to scale, boasts numerous features such as fully textured surfaces for fabric covering, sewing, leading edge smooth areas, and instrumented cockpits with gauges, switches, controls, and knobs. Rudder pedals and structural flying wiring on wings, tail, and stabilizer are also included, along with animatable ailerons, elevators, rudder, and propeller. The engine compartment, revealed by removable cowling, features a 4-cylinder opposed inline air intakes, starter, flywheel, and mounts, as well as cooling plates.
