This highly detailed model, near to scale, boasts many features such as textured fabrics, sewing, and leading edge smooth areas. The cockpits have complete instrumentation with gauges, switches, controls, and knobs. Rudder pedals are included, along with structural flying wiring on wings, tail, and stabilizer. Animated ailerons, elevators, rudder, and propeller can be found. Removing the cowling reveals an almost complete engine compartment with a 4-cylinder opposed inline air intakes, starter, flywheel, and mounts. Cooling plates are also modeled. This model comes in 12 formats and 18 paint schemes. The Acro Sport, designed by Paul Poberezny in the early '70s for homebuilding, is a single-seat aerobatic sportsplane marketed by Acro Sport Inc. A short-span biplane of taildragger configuration, it typically features an open cockpit, spatted main undercarriage, fabric-covered steel tube fuselage and tail group, and wood wing structure.
