ACRO Laser Cable Chains
thingiverse
A Simple yet Effective Cable Chain Setup. To create a cable chain setup, first print an X-AxisCableChainMount that can be attached directly to the top of x-axis plates moving the laser head around. Drill a few holes at the other end of the chain to secure it in place using a 1/8" or 3.5 mm drill bit. For the Y-AxisCableChainMount and Y-AxisCableChainMount-Leg, print one each normally, which will be installed on the left side of the frame. Use your slicer to mirror these parts on the x-axis so they can be easily installed on the right side of the machine. You will need eight M3 nuts, eight 6 or 8mm M3 bolts/screws for cable chains end pieces and ten M4x12mm screws and nuts to install mounts to ACRO laser. The existing holes will suffice for M4 drilling. To set up the y-axis and x-axis, you'll require about 28-29 chain links on each side. Print two sets of end pieces for one side of both axes. Then print another set using your slicer's mirror tool for the right side of the y-axis.
