Acoustic Wall Mount Washer

Washer design to secure an acoustic foam square to a wall efficiently. A local hardware store was charging $0.30 per washer, which seemed excessive considering their size. I took matters into my own hands and created custom washers for approximately one-fifteenth of the original price. These custom washers have an overall width of 50mm and feature a filleted center to prevent damage when using drywall screws. To produce them, I employed Breathe-3DP filament, which is an impact-modified PLA material. This ensures added durability. For enhanced re-positionability, each washer has a small strip of pegboard attached with spray adhesive. This provides extra grip on the drywall rather than relying solely on the screw's holding power. STL and Fusion 360 files are available for download.
