Acoustic Phone Amplifier

In our Woods Manufacturing class, we were tasked with creating a wood-based, powerless phone amp. While mass production in a shop presented challenges, I believe it has potential when 3D printed using SLS, SLA, or PolyJet technology. Inspiration struck while cooking; I accidentally placed my phone on the edge of a paper plate, and was amazed by the sound amplification provided by its rim. This led to the development of my unique powerless phone amp concept.
