An acoustic amplifying horn designed for iPhone 4 or 4S within an Otterbox "Defender" series case enhances audio output by directing sound and improving lower frequency response from the phone's speakers. Although it won't rival Bose's performance, it performs well when carried in a coat pocket while walking. The support height for the base is 17.5mm, with the rest of the horn unsupported due to lack of overhangs; this project is still under development but already proves useful.
