Acorn Geocache - Threaded Container
thingiverse
I remixed the acorn design because the original pressure fit wasn't meeting my needs. This modification also reinforced the container's structure, making it more durable and less prone to damage. Next, I added a removable top section featuring a loop attachment point, allowing for easy hanging from various surfaces or structures. My experiments with tree supports in Cura have been successful so far, and this approach works well for creating robust and stable 3D printed objects. To add an extra layer of protection against environmental factors, I've successfully accommodated a nano-sized container at 60% scale within the acorn design. I'm eagerly awaiting the update to ThingiView, which will provide me with more accurate and detailed previews of my 3D models.
