This remix brings together davidguo123456's Nerf Compatible model of a TA01-D-100555 trijicon Acog hybrid reflex scope with a custom twist. As an avid modder and customizer, I've often found myself replacing Nerf rails with picatinny rails on my blasters. This time around, I decided to take it a step further by modifying the scope itself to fit a picatinny rail. My initial version 3 print had some tight spots when tested on a Worker style rail, so I tweaked the tolerances by 5% for a better fit. However, I haven't reprinted the updated model yet. This custom design has also removed the arm portion of the built-in "iron sight" to prevent it from breaking off easily and reducing material usage during printing. A hole for a screw has been added to ensure the model stays securely attached to the rail. The original top-mounted reflex site is still included, allowing you to print it separately and add it on if desired. I've found that flipping the model in the slicer and printing it with the eyepiece facing downwards yields smoother quality prints. This approach requires more support, but it's worth the extra effort for a superior finish. A minor update has been uploaded to the file, which includes rotating the STL so that the scope is easier to view in 2D and fixing three minor mesh errors using Mesh Mixer. The revised file is tagged as V5. If you've already printed the original model, don't worry – this new version doesn't introduce any significant changes. Stay tuned for complete model pictures, which will be shared soon.
