Astrid has tortitude. If you have ever lived in a Tortoiseshell cat's house…You know that anything you don't want her to break is the thing that she most wants to break. She's either tuckered out or raising heck.

The latest obsession is the internet, if I don't throw the mouse enough times for her, she will disconnect the internet by pulling the cat-6 cable from the wall jack.

I modeled a parametric Astrid-proof cover and attached it to the wall with picture hanging strips.

Instead of modeling a hole, I used a drill press.

So far, this has been 100% Astrid-proof but only time will tell and be sure to tell my mom I love her! Because this bulwark appears to be holding for the moment but there may be retribution later during the night…or weeks later, she is sneaky.

Printed on a Creality CR6-SE. It was too big for the Mini. Sliced with Prusa Slic3r using the thoughtfully included CR6 profile. Had to tune it for local conditions using pet-g, bed at 78, nozzle at 239. The supports bowed a huge amount but they still worked, #blessed.

FreeCad file included, get in there and modify some parameters, if you want.

[Update]
Added a neoprene zippered sleeve to the remaining exposed cable.
