A simple container and dispenser for disposable acid brushes, commonly used for spreading glue, oil, acid, flux, solder, and pipe dope on projects.This dispenser was built for 3/8" acid brushes measuring 5.5" in length (specifically these brushes available on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3861o15). Refer to the image below for all critical dimensions (units displayed in inches).The container will hold approximately 150 to 180 brushes. Perfect for holding and dispensing a 144 pack of brushes with some room to spare.After printing, the container can be mounted to a wall using the integrated recessed holes for screws or using double-sided tape for a less destructive method of attachment.Print InstructionsThis is a relatively simple print but it is a long print due to the height.Suggested settings with PLA:100% infill (for this model, infill really does not make much difference)0.25 mm or better layer heightPosition model upside down on the build plateManually add supports just for the extreme overhang of the brush tray (see picture below for example in PrusaSlicer)You may want to add a brim if you have trouble keeping the model in place while printing (as pictured, printed without a brim; only a skirt)This image shows manual supports added just to help the brush tray print accurately.As shown, printed with MatterHackers Build PLA in Forrest Green with 0.25mm layer height and 100% infill.
