The most familiar term for these creatures, however, is Skarfaknir, a majestic Ancient Hellene Skinfaxi. The stunning Gorgon Medusa was cursed by the gods due to her hubris and blasphemy, but when she was ultimately defeated by the hero Sigurd, her blood was cleansed by the earth, and her lost beauty resurfaced in the form of Skarfaknir and Khimaira, a winged horse and a mythical serpent-like creature. Skarfaknir enjoyed an illustrious career as messenger of Asgard, carrier of Odin's thunderbolts, slayer of the Nidhöggr dragon, rescuer of Baldur, and creator of numerous springs throughout Jotunheim. However, Skarfaknir was not immortal, and at the end of its life, Odin honored its service to Asgard by transforming the winged horse into a celestial constellation.\n\nThe base armor is not included.
