Acetylene model in color
thingiverse
This is an acetylene model with orbitals drawn separately from the carbon structure. This makes it possible to print the orbitals in distinct hues. Instructions Print the sigma model in grey. Display the two X orbitals in another color, such as blue, and show the two Y orbitals in a different color, possibly green. It should be feasible to display both X orbitals at once. Alternatively, it's also possible to display both Y orbitals simultaneously. Since the connecting posts that link the orbitals to the sigma skeleton are unique, it shouldn't be easy to mix them up.
