This spigot performs admirably when sealing for clean transfer from unrefined gallon containers, to more manageable quart vessels. I've discovered that if a few drips occur, tightening the seal with a rag should ensure a secure fit. The spigot is a snug fit, yet essential in preventing leakage. To guarantee a tight connection, I placed the flange in a vise and provided it with gentle tapping using a small hammer. The cap and funnel are sourced from alternate designs, accessible via the links below. I designed my own spigot because the referenced model was not proportionate to my needs.
