Acerbis petcock lever
thingiverse
My motorcycle took another tumble, failing to impress once again. This time, the petrol tank lever gave out on me. Getting a replacement will take at least a month or more to arrive. So I decided to design a new lever and now I'm printing it from PETG. It's taken some time and effort, but V2 is finally installed in my bike. This was my first experience with 3D printing, so the last photo shows just how stiff it was when it was done. Update: I've added an Acerbis_petcock_c support for the lever only. I had to set the overhang threshold to 35% in slic3r to make it work. Gently remove the dummy crossbar after print. And yeah, if you like my work and ideas, feel free to show your appreciation with a couple of bucks.
